There are a variety of opportunities to get involved. We do our best to find what works best for your time and talent. Here are some volunteer opportunities throughout the week:

‍Kitchen: Planning, prepping, cooking, and serving. Don’t worry If you do or don’t know how to cook, there is a place for you! 

Classroom: Facilitating the daily activities for the students. This is more of a direct opportunity to work with the students.

Enrichment: If you have a special gift or talent that you would want to share with the students, we are always looking for exciting new opportunities!

Safety: While the students are on the facility, we ensure that the environment operates as safe as possible. This team assists with student arrival and dismissal.

Administrative: Throughout the week there is plenty to plan and prepare. If you love making copies, organizing, making phone calls, there is always an opportunity to help!

What does my giving go towards?

Your giving helps us create life changing opportunities for students and families in our community. Your support helps us to provide meaningful learning experiences. Students enrolled in our After School Program will receive:

- A safe fun-filled environment
- Transportation from GD Rogers Garden and Ballard Elementary
- Daily meals 
- Homework support
- Enrichment in sports, art, leadership development
- Summer Programming
- Educational Field Trips

"I was told about The Bradenton Dream Center and felt like that was where the Lord was leading me. I was totally unprepared for the things that I’ve experienced.  I didn’t expect to be welcomed so warmly. I didn’t expect to fall in love with these kids so quickly and that a simple thing like jump rope or four square or helping with homework could mean so much to a child. Serving there has become a highlight of my week!"

"Getting to serve in the after school program, I learned greatly about unconditional love. Working with the students everyday, learning about them and learning how to best work with each individual kid, showed me how far showing a child unconditional love can go. Having the opportunity to work with the students everyday was such a special honor as I got to see them transform right in front of me."
